Video Production/Photography Assistant

We are looking for a team player who is able to take direction well and can succeed under pressure. A flexible, easy going attitude is essential as productions can have strict deadlines. Candidate should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead and anticipate production requirements. We are searching for someone with a desire to work in the video production/photography culture, with creative skills and a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

- Ability to meticulously maintain all video production and photography equipment including lighting and support equipment. - Ability to work with a wide range of team members, talent, and personalities to ensure that production operates efficiently and productively. - Oversee the packing of all camera support, lighting, and video equipment. Load and unload equipment to ensure that everything is prepared and ready for filming. - Basic carpentry and painting skills for set construction and demolition. - Have schedule flexibility with the ability and desire to work long hours (nights) and some weekends. Overnight travel will be required. - General cleaning and upkeep of studio, run errands, and make deliveries. - Assist studio manager with various maintenance of property, including repair work of mechanical systems and buildings. Knowledge of electrical work a plus. - Knowledge of photo/video software helpful including: Capture One, Adobe Creative Suite, and Redcine-X Pro.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Associate Degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience.
